VENITAS TERMS OF USE

At Venitas Digital Communications we strive to be forthright about our services. Our relationship with our customers is built on mutual trust - over 98% of our customers are repeat callers and at least 86% of all new signups are referrals from existing customers. We strongly encourage and within bounds solicit feedback from our customers and use it to improve our services, and our customer satisfaction has consistently been above 98%. We want it to continue to remain that way. We therefore hope that all customers familiarize themselves with our terms of use as it governs our relationship with you.

No Sale to Minors

We do not provide our services to and cannot enter into contractual relationships with minors. If you are below 18 years of age then you may use our heavily discounted telephone services and access our website ONLY with the permission of an adult who has to be either your parent or legal guardian.

Acceptance of Our Terms of Use

By setting up an account and placing telephone calls using our calling service you agree to be bound by these terms of use and accept our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions or concerns about the contents of either please do not sign up or use our service until all your concerns have been addressed. Please contact our support staff at support@venitas.com for further details and to answer any questions that you may have. If you do not agree with our terms of use you should not use the Venitas calling service.

No 900 calls or adult calling service please

We will not terminate calls to 900 numbers or to adult services known to us. Please do not attempt to use our service to initiate such calls.

Retail use only

The Venitas calling service is meant for retail use and not for wholesalers. If you need wholesale service and rates please contact our sales department for more information by writing to sales@venitas.com

Absolutely no Illegal Calls

We do not condone the use of our services for illegal purposes. The Venitas calling service is primarily for use by individuals who place calls to destinations that traditional telephone service providers charge exorbitant rates to call. However no one should misconstrue this as an attempt to provide access to a cheap avenue of calls for the purpose of carrying out illegal activities. While we DO NOT and WILL NOT listen in on your calls UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, should we learn of any such use we will happily cooperate with the appropriate authorities to ensure that those who do so are prosecuted to the fullest extent permissible under the law. We will also suspend such accounts pending further investigation and should we confirm illegal usage of our services we will retroactively withdraw any promotional credit that may have been granted in the past at our discretion, we will terminate the account with immediate effect and issue a refund for any unused portions or send out a bill should the net balance turn out to be negative.

Per Minute Billing

All calls terminated by the Venitas calling service are billed at one minute intervals. This means that we will round the call duration up to the nearest minute. As a result a 40-second call will be billed at the same rate as a 1 minute call.

Prepaid use only

The Venitas calling service is a prepaid pay-as-you go service. While we will continue to occasionally extend free and promotional call credit to customers or prospects, in general only customers with a positive account balance can initiate calls. At the conclusion of each call the remaining credit balance will be the value of the previous balance less the cost of the last completed call. Any active calls will be terminated if the credit balance drops to less than that of the cost of a one-minute call to the current destination. We will notify the caller by way of a gentle voice prompt when the number of minutes remaining drop to 3.

Only one Active Call per Customer

Although Venitas supports the registration of and origination of calls from multiple telephone numbers registered to a single customer account, only one call can be active for each customer at any instant. Another call cannot be initiated from the customer's account until the current call completes.

Exclusive Venitas Referral Bonus

We automatically grant a token referral bonus credit to any customer that invites others to use our service. This is free, unconditional credit that we extend every time the referred customer uses the service - this feature is currently set to continue for as long as the referred customer continues to use the service. This credit is issued as referral points that get automatically converted to the dollar equivalent and added to the customer�s current balance whenever the points total 100. There is no limit to the number of new customers than can be referred in order to take advantage of this great promotion. Based on this model therefore it is possible that a customer will get to a point in which s/he never pays for making calls, ever! Here is how it works: Customer A refers customers B and C to try Venitas; while signing up, Customers B and C use Customer A�s primary telephone number as their referral code. Upon signing up, every time customers B and C place calls Venitas will as part of the post-call analysis issue a free credit to Customer A based on the number of actual minutes that were used. This does not affect the referred customer in any way but is rather our way of saying �Thank You� to Customer A for the referral by granting him/her in return a gift that keeps on giving!

Refund Policy

At Venitas we only charge our customers for what they actually use. If for any reason a customer is not completely satisfied with the service and wants a refund please do not hesitate to contact us via email or by calling our customer support telephone number and we will refund any unused balance - less any free promotional call credit, UNCONDITIONALLY, no questions asked. We will naturally be happy to receive any feedback, however this is not a requirement for issuing a full refund. Note however that any unused referral bonus or other promotional credit will be forfeited and not be included in the refund. We will however not retroactively bill the customer for any referral or promotional call credit that has already been used up. Our success at Venitas is built on a strong mutual sense of trust between our customers and ourselves and we treat this trust as sacred and strive to keep it that way.

Changes to our Terms Of Use

Venitas, LLC reserves the right to periodically update these terms of use with or without notice to you. Also, the currently posted version of the terms of use will always supersede any previous versions. This document can be accessed at all times by clicking on the 'Terms Of Use' link at the bottom of all pages of our website.
